マーシュ・アドバイザリーは、アジアにおける自然災害マネジメントを強化するため、特に地震リスクに重点をおき、災害リスク分析に関する知見の高い方を募集しています。このポジションは日本（東京本社）を拠点とし、以下のような業務を提供します。
内部および外部の自然災害リスクモデルを使用し、自然災害がクライアントポートフォリオに与える影響を分析し、モデル化した結果を提供します
クライアントが持つ、複雑なインフラ施設の事業中断損失を定量化する手法の開発を支援します

Marsh Advisory is seeking a candidate to enhance our natural catastrophe management capabilities in Asia and provide catastrophe risk analytical support to colleagues and clients with a particular focus on earthquake risk
This role will be based in Japan and will require:
Analysing the impact of natural catastrophe on client portfolio using internal and external natural catastrophe risk models and interpreting the modelled results
Supporting the development of methodology for quantifying business interruption loss for complicated infrastructure facilities
You will be supported by a regional team and a growing team of consultants. You will also have access to our international network of consultants, across the entirety of Marsh Mclennan.

クライアントの災害暴露（エクスポージャー）データを評価・準備し、災害モデルを実行し、 モデル化された損失見積もりを分析。レポートを介して内外の利害関係者に結果を提示すること。
モデリングデータやその他のデータソースに基づいて結論を導き出し、特定のリスク、特に地震、台風、洪水、雪に関する洞察を提供する能力。
エクスポージャーデータの品質を評価および強化する。災害モデリングとエクスポージャーデータ管理のベストプラクティスを実装する。
複雑なプロジェクトの大災害モデリングをサポートするために、調査を実施。科学的データセットを収集し、自然災害リスク、特に地震の深い理解を深める。
最新の業界トレンドと新しいモデリングプラクティスに遅れないようにし、リスク評価の精度を向上。

Evaluate and prepare client exposure data to run catastrophe models, analyse modelled loss estimates and present results to internal and external stakeholders via reports
Ability to draw conclusions based on the modelling data and other data sources to provide insights into certain risks, specifically earthquake, typhoon, flood and snow.
Assess and enhance exposure data quality. Implement catastrophe modelling and exposure data management best practices
Conduct research, collect scientific datasets and develop deep understanding of natural hazard risks specifically earthquake to support catastrophe modelling of complex projects
Keep abreast with the latest industry trends and emerging modelling practices to improve accuracy of the risk assessment
Support broking team in placing risk in international insurance markets
Expanding existing business opportunities and generate new opportunities
Apply strong communications and influencing skills – capable of presenting complex analytical topics across all levels of an organization including senior stakeholders
応募資格(必須経験など)
What you need to have:
工学分野または自然科学の学位
自然災害マネジメントまたは確率的災害モデルの開発における8〜10年の関連経験（地震および関連する自然災害/ハザードの経験があれば尚可）
災害モデリングソフトウェア(RMS、AIRなど)の操作に関する知識
保険に関する認識と実務経験 、自然災害リスク評価についての深い知見
Python、R、.Netなどのプログラミング言語、QGISなどのマッピングソフトウェア、SQL、Power BIなどのデータ分析ツールの知識があれば尚可
Degree in engineering discipline or natural sciences
8 - 10 years of relevant experience in natural catastrophe management or stochastic catastrophe model development and its application preferably for earthquake and related hazards
Knowledge in the operation of vendor catastrophe modelling software (such as RMS, AIR etc.)
Awareness and hand on experience in insurance and in-depth knowhow of natural catastrophe risk assessment
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, .Net etc., mapping software such as QGIS and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI is a strong advantage
Desirable:

事業の中断、鉄道施設の損失、電力/ガス配電システムなどの複雑なインフラストラクチャ資産のツールを使用して、リスクを定量化する方法論を構築/開発する能力。
優れた対人スキルとコミュニケーションスキル。
ビジネスレベルの日本語力と英語力。
Familiarity in working with large datasets
Capability to build/develop methodologies to quantify risk by using the tools for complicated infrastructure assets e.g. business interruption loss of railway facility, electricity/gas distribution systems, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency or working proficiency in Japanese and English
