Trade Finance

Provides solutions related to imports, exports or domestic trade transactions that include document handling, financing and risk mitigation. Product examples:

Trade Flow products (Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantee/SBLC)
Bilateral and syndicated loans
Unfunded Trade Solutions
Funded Trade Solutions
Structured Trade Solutions
Distribution and Credit Solutions
Factoring
Leasing Loan and TF Lending Products
Supply Chain Financing – Confirmed Payables and Account Receivables Purchase

Role Responsibilities and Tasks :

TFAS will handle the majority of Trade Flow transactions across all client segments. The team will be measured by client satisfaction and intensifying client relationships as well as client revenues.

This role is based in Tokyo, he/she will manage the daily routine tasks as following:
Client Relationship Representative for Trade clients on day-to-day trade related activities
Farming
Proactively drive Trade clients’ limit utilization
Being the central contact point of Trade Flow clients to provide pricing and product structure advisory
Manage the Lending portfolio to drive for new deals
Servicing
Advising Trade clients and setting up of non-standardized Trade transactions (e.g. Vetting the Wording for Bank Guarantees in English and/or Japanese)
Answering all kinds of product related questions before and after the product is handled/processed.
Discuss workability issues which need to be discussed with the client
Check and improve transaction application, documents discrepancies as provided by Trade Operation Team
Limit check and monitor the drawdown conditions
Manage/update client profile and TF client scoring card in central repository application for reference to internal stakeholders
Transaction Monitoring, ensuring transactions are a good fit for the client
Discussion with Business Partners on trade finance related matter (Product, Operations, CRM, Legal, Compliance etc)
Enquiry and client complaint management
Comply with Internal & Regulatory Risk and Control Guidelines
Drive continuous improvement activities for area of accountability leading to operational efficiencies’
Monitor the service quality, productivity and turnaround time according to the agreed SLA with Trade Operation Team and customers
Prepare and submit relevant regulatory reports if any to Finance, Compliance and Regulators
Participate in the projects and initiatives relating to Trade Finance & Lending implemented by Relationship & Transactions Management (RTM)
Incident management thru proper escalation to the focal point of contact at outsourcing branch


応募資格(必須経験など)

Experience/ Qualifications:

Preferably Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related disciplines
Ideally minimum 2 years of solid experience in Trade Finance area, especially Documentary Trade with knowledge of product associated risks e.g. compliance, transaction monitoring
Solid knowledge in Bank Guarantee issuance and claim
In-depth knowledge of trade operations cycle. Proficient in UCPDC, ISBP, URDG rules & guidelines
Working experience in Supply Chain Financing – Confirmed Payables is an advantage
Business oriented, enterprising and inquisitive in a new way of doing things
Good oral and written communication skills and meticulous
Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a good professional relationship with external and internal contacts
