Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Legal and Litigation Coverage
・ Assisting with the comprehensive coverage of all employee matters including internal investigations, disputes and litigation management and advice in relation to employee related group company policies.
・ Assisting with the Firm’s response to inspections and inquiries by regulators
・ Assisting with the maintenance, governance and administration of all group companies and their respective committees in Japan.
・ Assisting with JV-related and any other local/regional/global projects
応募資格(必須経験など)
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
・ S 5-10 pqe Bengoshi or foreign qualified attorney with relevant experience with some combination of FIEL, labor law, Company Act, internal investigation, and ligation.
・ Interest to develop a long term in-house legal career with Morgan Stanley.
・ Broad understanding of wholesale banking and/or wholesale financial services.
・ Ability to build relationships of trust with members of the Legal and Compliance departments and employees in the business unit and support & control functions in/outside of Japan.
・ Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in person and in writing.
・ Confidence to use own initiative and apply judgment.
・ Enthusiasm and aspiration to learn and develop.
・ Bilingual: high fluency in both Japanese and English.
