Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of investment and asset management processes, including: working closely with senior members of the Asia real estate team to dynamically develop and adjust various investment strategies, sourcing and analyzing various investment opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with operating partners, taking ownership of the entire deal execution process from due diligence to business plan development to investment committee presentations to closing, monitoring and implementing improvements at portfolio levels, taking full ownership of internal reporting and valuation processes, exiting investments, and interacting with the firm’s investors, operating partners, clients and limited partners

Role considerations:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese required
The successful candidate will have roughly 8-10 years of business experience, which will include a background that comprises both real estate investing and asset management, with at least 5 years in the Japan real estate markets, preferably at a real estate investment platform or developer
This position is based in KKR’s Tokyo office

Extensive analysis on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling
Managing the due diligence process, including overseeing commercial, accounting, tax, and legal diligence advisors
Assisting with the development of and monitoring operational initiatives of portfolio assets
Monitoring and reporting on portfolio asset performance
Drafting and presenting oral and written materials to management and investors
It is essential for a candidate to be a self-starter and motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and within teams across the region and product groups globally
