Corporate Solutions originates, structures and executes a wide range of risk management and investment solutions for corporate and public sector clients across Japan. The team is within Markets, sits on the private side and works closely with Trading, Structuring, Banking and Risk/Compliance. The individual will originate a wide range of client transactions, from managing interest rate, currency, equity and commodities exposures on their financing to offering excess cash investment alternatives. Transactions range from the simple and immediate to highly structured and strategic.

Responsibilities:

Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions with Japanese corporate and public sector clients
Collaborate with Banking and Capital Markets (M&A, DCM, ECM, ECA, Securitization, Loans) to identify and discover Markets cross sell opportunity for all private side transactions
Develop the Citi franchise with the relevant Japanese corporate and public sector clients
Drive client engagement through buying and selling securities, offering and pricing derivative transactions & analyzing associated risks for all asset classes (FX/Rates/Equity/Credit/Commodity)
Leverage existing contacts network, understand client needs, introduce the Citi offering, convince clients to adopt it and increase client satisfaction and Citi revenue
On-boarding and prospecting key clients
Help drive the team's developed strategy across specified product lines
Aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise
Will independently and/or jointly work within business product to achieve the strategic growth and market share we are aiming for
Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client
Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Service
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


応募資格(必須経験など)

Qualifications/Skills:

Approximately 4 - 10 years of experience
Ability to develop a client base, understand markets and clients dynamics
Technical background necessary to originate, understand and price transactions
Strong judgement to evaluate risks to clients and Citi
Ability to create effective internal partnerships
Self-Motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced problem solving skills
Knowledge of Excel/Word/Power point
Must have or be able to obtain licenses required

Education:

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
