Description

Amazon Logistics has been demonstrating more than double digit growth every year since we started our business in 2019, regarding number of products delivering to our customers everyday. The speed and quality of delivery has been also improved year on year.

Currently, we are focusing on expanding our Delivery Station(DS) to entire Japan to fulfill our logistics network. This Sr. Manager position takes leadership to continue expanding our network while establishing sustainable organizational capabilities.

[Specific business content]

You Will Be Mainly Involved In The Following Roles

■Launch Execution Management (leading overall project management of all DS launch plan)

■Configuration & Testing Operations (leading overall technical configuration set-ups for all DS launch plan)

■Ramp up support business (leading successful start-up for all DS launch plan)
There is a possibility that business trips of about 50% will occur. (There is a possibility that the DS startup period will increase further)

Key job responsibilities
Manage new and existing programs with team members to improve successful launch of the new DSs
Working with multi-functional teams, drive those projects forward through quick decision-making and elimination of blockers
Manage team to meet target operational metrics during the DS start-up by taking necessary counteractions
Lead lessons learnt for the continuous improvement on quality and speed for the DS launch
Manage size of organization (20-25) and keep growing the total capability of the organization
Identify white space to improve the AMZL business and initiate projects while expanding organization


応募資格(必須経験など)

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of experience in project management, logistics, operations and supply chain
Experience with organization management
Data analysis experience (Excel/data processing skills)
Business level of English
Preferred Qualifications
A Master's degree in a related field such as project management, engineering, operations and supply chain
Experience with 20+ people organization management
Verbal and written communication skills and is able to influence colleagues and leaders
Experience working with regional and global teams
Proficiency in Japanese language
Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
