Duties

The extent of your duties will include, but are not limited to

We seek a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly across multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You must have the experience and capability to create and present documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with Amazon’s strategic objectives.
People development
Create and track project plans to design and deliver world-class learning programs leveraging technology where appropriate to extend access, gain efficiency and scalability
Suggest process improvements through business owners to improve learning standards
Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, test solutions and prioritize competing program opportunities

Key job responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the training space through country and network teams with the outcome of accelerating time to proficiency across various levels of employees and leaders
Serve as the single threaded leader for learning and talent management for the Japan AMZL network
Engage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment and action towards goals
Maintain strong partnerships with in-country leaders, Japan network leaders, and worldwide leaders to drive network standard programs
Communicate learning operational health to regional leadership through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and weekly business reviews (WBR)


応募資格(必須経験など)

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years’ experience in the areas of operational management or learning and development or equivalent experience
3+ years’ work experience of direct people management
Program management experience
Business level of English
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related discipline
Operational experience outside of training and leadership development
Experience supporting the training and leadership development of an operational organization
Experience with business, financial and process improvements tools, concepts and methodologies
Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills; role model for learning and development leaders
Proven experience in implementing innovative learning and development solutions within a fast-paced global environment
Analytical skills and experience using and presenting data to make decisions
Business and HR acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking and willingness to be vocally self-critical
Proficiency in Japanese language
Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
