As a Barclays Intra-day Risk Developer you will have an exciting opportunity to run the engineering functions within the Beowulf Intraday team, including testing/quality control. You will report to regional technical lead, will be part of regional scrum team based in Singapore & TKY, and will focus on the application development across a diverse set of projects and initiatives. You will own the end-to-end software release process, ensuring that software releases are both timely and of a high quality. a controlled, transparent and actively risk managed fashion.

What will you be doing?
You will be analysing and designing software development across a range of projects in the Intraday Risk space
Working with the business, analysts, peers and project managers to understand and deliver requirements
Ensuring production stability and Level-3 production support
Ensuring that software designs are well documented and shared appropriately across the whole team
Ensuring high code quality and unit test coverage and driving continuous improvement of processes
You will be in charge of regular and frequent reporting on progress
Ensuring adherence to technical standards & SDLC including quality measures

What We’re Looking For
Exceptional C++, JAVA, C# and general programming skills, high level of proficiency with Microsoft tools, especially Excel
Proven track record of developing large-scale high performance systems, background working in Finance, or other area with a significant focus on numerical data
Experience and knowledge of Agile project management principals and practice
Degree in a technical, science, engineering, or mathematical discipline
Skills That Will Help You In The Role
Experience in a financial institution and exposure to Investment Banking with an understanding of derivative products and financial market risk, especially in fixed income
Experience working with financial market risk data
