Senior Linux System Administrator, VP
We are looking to grow our Specialized Electronic Trading Infrastructure Team with a cross-discipline Senior Linux System Administrator. The candidate will work with our partners across technology to manage, grow and transform our existing heterogenous compute infrastructure across the globe.

Responsibilities
> You will be directly supporting, managing, troubleshooting, and pushing forward in an enterprise scale Linux server plant in various global environments.
> You will develop and manage various tools to script away repetitive tasks and reporting.
> You will be involved in integration, certification, and maintenance of numerous products such as with server hardware, Linux, and configuration management systems.
> You will be a part of a global (follow the sun) on-call rotation for issues.
> You will write and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
> You will have experience with change management and problem management practices.
> You are a self-starter, able to act like an owner, prioritize requests, collaborate with others, and manage ambiguity.
> You enjoy working with people in a very collaborative space.

Qualifications
> Expertise with Linux - preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
> Expertise with server hardware and cabling from various vendors.
> Expertise with configuration management systems Ansible, SaltStack, etc.
> Proficient in programming in various languages Python, Perl, BASH, etc.
> Knowledge with networking systems Router, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
> Knowledge with networking services and protocols TCP/UDP, DNS/DHCP/NTP, etc.
> Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
> Ability to manage customers, colleagues, and management at various levels.
> Ability to analysis, troubleshoot and manage issues and incidents in a highly visible fast paced environment.
> Successful track record of driving and collaborating on time-to-market projects and tasks.
> Business or native level English.
Skills Desired
> Experience with Linux kernel and application debugging with crash/core dumps/etc, and server performance tuning and low-level debugging.
> Experience with incident and data platform solutions ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Splunk etc.
> Experience with observability and monitoring tools Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
> Experience with technologies such as Linux kernel by-passing and FPGA.
> Experience working on shared code bases using best practices in source control, CI, release management, and change control.
> Knowledge of low-latency and/or financial trading systems.
