The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We set go-to-market strategy, and ensure execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas.

In this role, you will lead the Japan GTM Strategy and Operations team. This team provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, commercializes ads products and helps drive initiatives forward. We stay focused on driving the growth of the Ads business, aligning the company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and helping to evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Japan GTM team is also responsible for the development of our commercial business strategies in India, as well as coordinating the execution of these strategies by ensuring that we have the right processes, reporting, resources and skills in place.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

Partners with the Country VP of Japan to shape the overall strategic direction of the advertising business. Identify business and consumer trends and insights, develop the business plan, conduct business reviews and prioritizes growth opportunities.
Drive cross-functional initiatives and collaboration as a key member of the Japan leadership team.
Commercialize ads products in alignment with strategic priorities.
Design operational execution and business generation initiatives, including metrics to understand and improve business performance (productivity) and programs to pilot to capture business growth ideas, to allow Google to execute at scale. Provide day-to-day problem-solving on operational issues.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure smooth flow of Google operations from global to local, to implement global best practice ideas. Help in optimizing the portfolio of clients.


応募資格(必須経験など)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience leading consulting firm or investment bank, with experience in strategy, change management, and rolling-out initiatives.
Experience leading and developing a team with a focus on performance and mentoring.
Experience in stakeholder management and influencing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree.
Understanding of the digital and media ecosystem.
Ability to take a quantitative and analytical approach with distinctive operational and business judgment with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
