About this role

At BlackRock, we are building a world class HR team and you will work with a team of professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

We are looking for an Associate in Japan HR team, reporting to Japan HR Head.

This role is responsible for HR operations including country specific payrolls, benefits, tax, statutory required reporting, HR related compliance and rules by partnering with regional team, local vendors and local stakeholders. The position will provide a well-rounded experience of both operating effectively and supporting strategically for further creating the better working place for employees.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the country specific payrolls, benefits, tax, statutory required reporting, HR related compliance and rules by partnering with local payroll vendor, internal related HR teams in the region and local HR teams.
Liaise and coordinate with regional teams and external vendors to proceed properly and complete for;
Payrolls
Payroll related tax payment
Social securities
Retirement pension program and other benefit transactions
Statutory required reporting
Make sure to be compliant for Health and Safety related regulations.
Liaise and support for any Tax related matter including external/internal audits and submission of any required documents by working with local payroll vendor, regional teams and local HR team
Make sure to complete all the required process for joiners and leavers. Hold the orientations for joiners and leavers.
Maintain the existing HR related rules and policies by periodical review. Establish and/or amend any HR related rules and policies to be compliant to any changes of regulations or newly launched internal schemes by getting the advice from external counsel and internal related functions where appropriate.
Manage the outsourced vendors and offshored teams by providing the proper guidance, encouraging for the continued process improvement, and fixing the problems if any.
Engage in due diligence process and partner with relevant parties to ensure that the outsourced vendors are meeting firm’s standard on risk and controls criteria
Manage and take lead for any payroll or benefit related projects by working closely with related teams and stakeholders.
In conjunction with HR Business Partner and HR priorities, provide support to our talent practices and strategies.


応募資格(必須経験など)

Qualifications And Skills
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources field
Fundamental knowledge on local labor law and related regulations
Fluent in English and native level of Japanese
A high level of attention to detail and confidentiality
Ability to manage challenging priorities and meet tight deadlines
Ability to identify, analyse and develop processes and drive continuous improvement
Teamwork including collaborating with remote team members
Strong Microsoft office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel proficiency
