The Senior Business Unit Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a department. The role drives the overall administrative activities of the business. These tasks include managing the governance and control framework, project managing business initiatives, managing external and internal audits, and addressing regulatory issues. The Senior Business Unit Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the control framework for the wider business including managing Internal & External Audits & Compliance Testing, maintaining MCA/GRC , Operational Loss analysis and driving delivery of corrective action plans
Coordinator of business-driven projects across functions, driving implementation and working closely with relevant senior stakeholders
Ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate across functions and at all levels; liaison with Lines of Businesses, Risk and support functions building relationships to develop and deliver on control initiatives
Other ad hoc administration tasks that support the activities of the business including PowerPoint presentations and data analysis
Provide input into and proactively drive enhancements across the control framework
Ensure corrective actions plans are implemented with a goal of driving a robust, efficient and scalable solutions
Engage in cost management activities, such as validating spending and cost saving initiatives, monitoring savings initiatives and expenses, as well as monitoring consistency between financial information, productivity information and HR reports
High level of computer literacy especially in the Microsoft Office, preferably including data analytics tools and PowerPoint

Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in financial services
Experience in project management with multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
Proven ability to work in time-sensitive environments
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication in English and local language
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
