Our team mission is to provide our clients with world-class service experience and to demonstrate quality leadership in our industry.
Your responsibilities include:
• Full accountability for the end-to-end query resolution raised by clients. The queries may include, but not be limited to Trade / Cash settlements, Income s and Corporate Actions.
• Building relationships with clients to understand client behavior and requirements
• Participation in analyzing client transactional data in order to identify client trends and behaviors, identifying key operational risk and control metrics, and contributing to the presentation of operational data metrics to the Custody business stakeholders as well as external client interactions
• Drive resolution and management of client queries, leveraging internal teams globally and regionally as appropriate.
• Detection of client service requests and service delivery issues that may impact client satisfaction and service experience.
• Monitoring, escalation and resolution of material risks. Ensure clients are advised of material risks in a timely manner and proper internal escalation is triggered and recorded.
• Proactive participation in local and regional projects in accordance with the divisional objectives and provide timely updates to a location manager.
• Positive local collaboration with tax, account opening and client service teams as a Custody Middle Office lead.
• Staff performance development planning, execution and contributions to evaluations.
• Participation in global / regional BAU discussions to represent Japan and connect CMO Japan staffs.
• Coordination, coverage and ownership of adhoc tasks assigned.


応募資格(必須経験など)

To be successful, you will need:
• business fluent level Japanese language proficiency to support Japanese clients.
• University degree with at least 8 years experience in Trade Management/Cash/Asset Servicing at custodian banks or prime brokerage operations with a focus on client services & operations
• Proven people management skills and operating at VP equivalent level.
• Comprehensive knowledge on global markets along with extensive knowledge on international settlements and financial products.
• Proven professional and organizational engagement expertise.
• Desire for ongoing self-development and unlimited willingness to educate and develop team members.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English will be highly advantageous
• Strong Risk and Control awareness; ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work in a dynamic environment
• Team player spirit but also with the ability to operate without direction when required and be confident, articulate and able to represent J.P. Morgan in front of clients
• Good understanding on distinction between local and global nuance and ability to apply both in a appropriate manner.
