As a Barclays Credit Structurer you will be a part of broader regional and global structured credit business. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team and be part of a growth business within an established firm. The primary objectives of the role are idea generation, deal pricing/execution, analysis and marketing. The job will involve managing close coordination between Sales and Trading partners across Asia as well as interaction with other functions such as legal, compliance and risk & finance.

What will you be doing?
• Being part of a top-tier global structured credit business within markets, focusing on both asset and liability business driving solutions for clients
• Joining based in Tokyo, part of a regional team focusing on credit assets – structured notes/loans, repacks, CLN’s and derivatives for Japanese clients
• Working with senior structurers/traders and various sales teams in Tokyo, on marketing, client engagement and execution
• You will be leading daily activities to include pricing structures independently, preparing marketing sheets
• Responding to client queries and feedback, working with internal stakeholders on execution and post-execution tasks (e.g. legal, tax, finance etc)

What we’re looking for:
• Work experience of one to two years in a markets business for a financial institution, preferably in structured products
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in finance, economics or engineering
• Excellent quantitative skills with a mathematical/statistical background
• Exceptional communication skills in order to successfully work across teams, language skills of both English & Japanese are required
