What will you be doing?
• Providing core development and enhancement on our algorithmic trading and smart order routing platforms trading Cash Equities across Asia markets
• Continuously seeking to deliver zero-defect versions on the platform, while performing 2nd line support and knowledge transfer to Prod support teams to ensure smooth releases
• Contributing to solutions to tech debt to continuously improve the platform
• Providing holistic simulation and testing of the trading system for high reliability
• Participating in code reviews and architectural decisions
• Mentoring junior developers
• Following Barclays development standards and Agile development model
応募資格(必須経験など)
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in financial markets and applications, including algorithms, market data feeds and APIs, order routing protocols, and the complete front-to-back trading flow
• Competence in software development with C++ on Linux along with performance profiling tools and techniques (additionally, Java a distinct advantage)
• Experience with connectivity solutions and the FIX protocol
• Experience in developing multithreaded systems and knowledge of thread synchronization techniques
