【Amazon】Talent Operations Manager, AWS Talent Acquisition

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Talent Acquisition team is seeking a talented, customer-focused Operations Manager to lead an operations team which is the backbone of our organization.
The Ops Manager must be able to successfully manage teams & performance, prioritize strategic vs tactical work and drive initiatives to raise the bar for the team. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and recruiting stakeholders. They possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

This Operations Manager role in Japan will lead a team of operations staff tasked with delivery of scheduling and coordination for Japan and other APAC countries. They will also program manage and lead key recruiting operations initiatives across those markets. This role influences outcomes based on the needs of businesses and recruiting stakeholders, while balancing the need to drive scalable solutions for our recruiting coordination team regionally.
Role requirements are as below:

Operational Excellence and Process Leadership
• Subject matter expert in coordination process, workflows, tools and systems. Self-educates on regional best practice with a willingness to experiment. Builds SOPs and process guides to automate cross training of RCs locally and regionally, reducing variation, creating scalable processes, resulting in the ability to load balance regionally incase of surges and attrition. Drives invent & simplify and identifies opportunities to reduce waste, improve candidate and hiring manager experience, and increase scheduling efficiencies.

Client Partnership

• Manages client (business, candidates, TA) escalations by identifying the root cause and resolving them through process implementation, building awareness and inspection. Proactively drives resolution of problems in partnership with their regional counterparts. Promotes a ‘one-team’ approach, enabling RCs to integrate with recruiting teams while delivering a seamless process. Provides updates and analysis to TA managers on RC metrics (e.g. cycle time, capacity targets, actual vs. planned), solicits feedback, building trust between the RC team and its customers. Strong ability to build relationships, be a trusted advisor and set expectations with clients while delivering a high quality service.

Team Management and Development

• Manages a team of RCs including hiring, onboarding and training. Proactively manages team hygiene on leave planning, business coverage, rotations and queue health, pre-empting issues before they happen. Provides insights and coaches RCs to become self-sufficient in managing challenges. Measures performance against SLAs/ KPIs with available metrics and anecdotal data; addresses performance gaps promptly.

Regional Project & Change Management

• Leads and drives key regional projects within the RC org to improve status quo. Builds and executes think big goals in the RC space - can take ambiguous problems, scope them into actionable tasks, engage regional RCs to synergize and positively impact the APJ-wide RC org. Monitors progress, identifying and clearing blockers and escalating appropriately. Obtains TA management support on planned RC projects, provides clear communications, foresees challenges in managing change and provides steps to mitigate risks.


応募資格(必須経験など)

基本条件
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, related field or equivalent professional experience
• 7-9 years professional experience including people leadership across geographically dispersed teams in Asia Pacific
• Experience in building and driving SLAs and team metrics and using a data driven approach to measure team performance
• High attention to detail to identify risks, dive deep and discover the root cause and impact of options and decisions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a demonstrated ability to earn trust and partner with stakeholders
