Global Services Legal (GSL) team is a strategic partner and product counsel to the five Services of Accenture, i.e. Strategy & Consulting, Industry X, Song, Technology and Operations. The GSL team’s mission is to help the Accenture business to grow in a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable way, by providing early-stage legal advice and support in relation to the key business strategies and priorities.
Global Services Legal is seeking to appoint an experienced Legal Counsel to join the Industry X Legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
・Assessing new Industry X product and service offerings, including identifying relevant risks and appropriate risk mitigation strategies (contractual, operational, technical and commercial);
・Developing clear communications, guidance, templates and trainings on Industry X related topics for sales and go to market teams, development teams, technical teams and the rest of the Legal organization;
・Teaming with Accenture’s regulatory and compliance counsel to synthesize and apply regulatory and compliance advice, including anticipating the impact of regulatory changes on Industry X’s business;
・Enabling new strategic alliances and partnerships;
・Helping evaluate prospective acquisition targets on behalf of Industry X, conducting due diligence, and shaping post-merger integration strategies; and
・Taking on additional strategic projects at the direction of the Industry X Market Legal Leads and/or Industry X Global Legal Lead.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
・6+ years relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, with a preference for prior experience advising on the development of new product orand service offerings.
・Candidates should have demonstrated interest in, industry awareness or prior knowledge of key Industry X technologies, such as digital manufacturing, digital twins, Internet of Things/edge computing, cloud computing, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence.
・Candidates should ideally also have experience in:
- Risk identification, analysis, and management relating to engineering, manufacturing and operational technology, as distinct from information technology consulting;
- Drafting and negotiation of client and supplier agreements, including understanding of intellectual property, data protection, and allocation of liability;
- Deal shaping and evaluation of innovative commercial models for new product and service offerings; and
- Developing trusted relationships with Business leaders.

Education and Qualifications：
・JD degree or equivalent degree or legal qualification and admitted to the bar (or local equivalent); in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.
