The Securities Services’ Client Service – Technology Relationship team is a key part of the Custody & Global Fund Service business responsible for the alignment of J.P. Morgan technology capabilities and strategic roadmap to that of our key clients. We are currently seeking a collaborative and client focused Technology Relationship Manager (TRM) to join this team. The main objective of Technology Relationship Manager is to drive client satisfaction through targeted and stable technology delivery, to represent the Client’s Technology Model to our JPMorgan partners (Technology, Operations, Client Service Managers, Product Development, Product, across LOBs), and to represent JPMorgan’s Technology Platform to our Client partners (Technology and Operations).
You will be responsible for building relationships with the Client and JPMorgan Partners, establishing trust and understanding with clients through accurate interface delivery and timely incident follow ups. You will need to establish an in-depth knowledge of the Client’s Technology interfaces (both current and planned) as well as the JPMorgan Technology architecture (applications and connectivity) and the Client’s dependency on it across business products.
You will be partnering with JPMorgan Technology (Production Management, Application Development and Technology Infrastructure) and Clients to maintain delivery, analyze, propose and implement enhanced client workflow through deployment of technology solutions across all electronic channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the single point of contact on Technology for assigned portfolio of clients
• Representing J.P. Morgan’s Technology Platform on client-initiated technology project
• Developing strong relationships within key client promoting J. P. Morgan technology
• Driving new product deployment to client including validation of end-to-end workflow
• Ensuring that information exchanged between J.P. Morgan and our partners is optimized in terms of accessibility, efficiency, resiliency, and security
• Leads in planning, designing, enhancement and support of the current client data delivery solutions
• Collating feedback of platform improvements through the product development lifecycle
• Support the project management process; includes co-ordination of resources, priorities, issues and risks, scheduling, stakeholder communication with Project Manager.
• Recommending improvements to client integration activities that leverage core platform capabilities
• Global coverage for franchise clients provided with regional expertise
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with business aligned client facing teams and representatives from each of the clients
• Coordination across various teams including Operations, Technology, Sales, Product and Client Service, in effective communication (clear, concise, consistent) is critical

To be successful, you will need:
Must have:
• Strong English & Japanese language fluency (Speaking and Business writing)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Business
• 5+ years previous experience in Technology for Financial and Banking sector working as part of a team delivering technology and data solution in financial services industry
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable in dealing with data
• Demonstrated exposure to investment trade lifecycle functions including affirmation processing, trade capture, analytics, settlements, accounting, and cash management
• Strong end to end ownership, governance, controls, risks, and dependency management
• Ability to work both independently, taking clear ownership for delivery, and as part of a team. Self-motivated
• Effective problem solving. Focuses on accountability, action, and outcomes to ensure solutions meet client needs while aligning business deliverables to the firm's mission and goals
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions on behalf of the client and JPM
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic with a desire to work with a team and a willingness to learn the products and processes of JPM
Nice to have:
• Cross product data structure on Fund Accounting, Custody, Securities Lending and OTC derivatives products
• Awareness of regulatory, industry & infrastructure developments
• Previous experience of project delivery within client experience / integration initiatives
• Securities and Cash Data Management structure knowledge (OMS/Vendor solutions)
