The job involves local regulatory reporting as well as monthly closing processes. A motivated and capable person will have many opportunities to expand his/her tasks and responsibilities. There is also a potential opportunity to work at office in other countries in a few years.
Responsibilities
• Approval of accounting entries
• Ensuring the overall integrity of financial statements under US GAAP and J GAAP
• Preparation of local regulatory reports
• Coordination with product controllers and financial controllers for various businesses
• Keep track of assigned business results for booking accuracy
• Monitoring currency hedge processes
• Seek better control procedures which can be justified by cost/benefit analysis
応募資格(必須経験など)
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience
• GAAP knowledge (J GAAP and/or US GAAP) is preferred
• Solid understanding of financial products is a plus (shorting, margin trade, security borrowing /lending, options, swap, forwards, futures, etc.)
• Regulatory reporting knowledge is a plus
• Native level Japanese and basic level English are must
