WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Own, plan and execute Market Reputation marketing activities, including truly local activities for:
• Editorial: Tailor content to local community needs including editing the translated contents in order to turn the translation into proper business IP, proof-read the IPs, develop local IPs together with Partners, distribute the contents in local market, and work with local agencies/providers (Translation will be done by internal translation team, external translator or AI tool)
• Brand & Creative: Tailor content to local community, create / edit including copy writing to attract press / distribute local video content, work with local agencies and providers
• PR & External Comms: By understanding the market trend, support all local PR activities to develop Bain’s presence in the local market, work with general media and premium publications. This role includes direct communication with press for pitches/interviews and work with local PR agency to plan and increase media exposures
• CRM: Extract necessary information from the CRM database, and utilize the data for PR purpose. Maintain local press contacts / influencers in CRM database
• Digital Marketing: Manage local Bain.co.jp page, manage local content on all digital media, tailor global campaigns to local community, create / edit / distribute to key stake holders
• Conferences & Events: Plan Bain hosted and/or co-host events with publishers and support Conf. & Events preparation and execution.
• Alumni: Help develop and execute a local population segmentation and engagement strategy, including communications and events that support and augment/dovetail with Practice and Account efforts
• Local office priorities: Assist Client Development efforts for local priority accounts and execute internal office communications
• Seek to become go-to person for marketing questions within the local office
• Provide on-going Marketing support to the Market Reputation Manager, Office Head, and local office Partners
• Work collaboratively with other Marketing functions to ensure plans are aligned / complementary and to achieve Bain Marketing’s overarching goals
• Track Market Reputation KPIs and performance to help optimize effectiveness
• Contribute in improving and innovating marketing tools and processes

Required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, proven track record within a relevant marketing specialization (e.g. Developing contents to capture press attention, editorial, proof reading, communicate with press for press interview, press pitches, event execution/support. Communicate with KOLs, clients and internal global members)
• Broad expertise and experience in general public relations and marketing programs and processes
• Very strong business writing skills in Japanese and fluent in English especially comprehending English business writings/reports.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute distinct projects with high accuracy, including project budget management and goal pursuit
• Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders of various seniorities with minimal input from Manager
• Ability to understand and work with consulting content and IP
• Ability to interact with external contacts / parties as knowledgeable Bain marketing representative
• Demonstrated ability to understand public relations and marketing needs and marketing objectives of local offices and industry practices
• Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions

Preferred
• Master’s degree in Business / Marketing / Communications / social sciences, relevant marketing specialization
• Professional services experience
