As a Barclays Settlements AVP you will join our Japan Core Operations Team as part of the wider Investment Bank group and will support the post-trade activities for multiple products, including Equities, Fixed Income, and Foreign Exchange for BSJL and BBPLC Tokyo Branch entities. You will support the team by perform daily processing of confirmations/settlements with the highest standard, whilst meeting agreed SLAs, and being mindful of risk, efficiency, budget and personal conduct as a team.

What will you be doing?
Clearing, and custody processing for multiple products, including Equities, Fixed income, and Foreign Exchange
Pre-matching and fails management and position management
Processing dividends, and coupon/redemption for multiple products traded for BSJL, BBPLC Tokyo entity
Monitoring legal ledgers and regulatory reports to be generated in an accuracy manner
Participating in related project as a user in the settlement team and manage UAT
Maintaining up to date procedures for the team
Attending external and internal meetings to discuss any new business building and remedy for process
Developing a culture of transparency, integrity and collaboration where all fellow team members are motivated and inspired to deliver the required outcomes
応募資格(必須経験など)
What we’re looking for:
Fluent in Japanese with a business level of English as you must be able to communicate with Central Securities Depository and Central Counter Parties
Knowledge/experience with products such as Equities, JGB, JCB, Japanese Funds, Foreign Bonds, and Foreign Exchange (Cash, NDF, Derivative and Money Market)
Previous knowledge with Trade lifecycle (including Settlement, Asset Servicing, and Margin call process)
Proven analytical skills with logical thinking, problem solving ability, and attention to detail
