As a Barclays Japan Settlement Analyst, this is exciting opportunity where you will take on the responsibility of performing daily processing of confirmations/settlements with the highest standard, whilst meeting agreed SLAs, and being mindful of risk, efficiency, budget and personal conduct as a team. You will have the chance to establish relationships with regional and Global Operations teams, and business stakeholders and showcase your ability to understand and analyse complex problems and provide effective tactical and strategic solutions.

What will you be doing?
Taking ownership of Japan settlement, clearing, and custody processing for multiple products, including Equities, Fixed income, and Foreign Exchange.
Working on corporate action, Dividends, and Coupon/Redemption processing for multiple products traded for BSJL, BBPLC Tokyo entity.
Monitoring legal ledgers and regulatory reports to be generated in an accuracy manner
Participating in related project as a user in the settlement team and manage UAT
Maintaining up to date procedures and attend regional/global call to support Vice President (VP) if any. Along with pre-matching/fails management and position management.
Attending external and internal meetings to discuss any new business building and remedy for process
Developing a culture of transparency, integrity & collaboration where all fellow team members are motivated/ inspired to deliver the required outcome
Working alongside a diverse global workforce through rapid change and / in periods of uncertainty
応募資格(必須経験など)
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge/experience with products such as Equities, JGB, JCB, Japanese Funds, Foreign Bonds, and Foreign Exchange (Cash, NDF, Derivative and Money Market)
Knowledge of Trade lifecycle (including Settlement, Asset Servicing, Margin call process). And analytical skills (logical thinking, problem solving ability, attention to detail)
Fluent Japanese including read/write. Business level of English (Japanese necessary for being able to communicate with Central Securities Depository/Central Counter Parties)
Able to prioritise and manage multiple items at once and ensure consistent delivery under pressure & able to escalate issues/problems to management with timely manner
