As a Barclays Middle Office VP you will lead and drive changes in the team while providing outstanding support to multiple business lines including but not limited to Equities, Equities Derivatives, and Loans. You will ensure the smooth operation of day to day activities supporting and controlling the respective business areas and to represent Japan IBMO on a global front. You will also providing oversight of controls such as reconciliations, regulatory requirements on legal ledgers/regulatory reporting, EOD completeness controls such as daily coordination/validation of trading activities, exception queue monitoring, investigation and clearance in a timely manner

What will you be doing?
Ensuring that processing is carried out to the highest standard, whilst meeting agreed SLAs, and being mindful of risk, efficiency, budget and personal conduct
Taking part in driving industry-wide (e.g. regulatory, market change) initiatives in a controlled and efficient manner
Leading the production of Business Requirements, completion of UAT and liaison with Technology for any change and regulatory driven new activities/requirements.
You will be responsible for owning both people and resource management
Collaborating with regional and global IBMO asset class leads to deliver on the IBMO strategy,
Optimizing Trade Controls and Lifecyle Management on Strategic platforms, driving standardization of T0 EOD controls, supporting regulatory change and business growth
Driving continuous improvement through initiatives such as Lean and Agile
応募資格(必須経験など)
What we’re looking for:
Degree educated or equivalent qualification/experience
Native in Japanese and outstanding verbal and written English skills to support working within a highly connected global environment.
At least 3 years of experience in Equities and Equities Derivatives.
JSDA: Class-1 sales representative qualification, Internal Control Manager qualification
