• As the lead of FIC settlement team, responsible to ensure a smooth daily fixed income settlement operation. Escalate the incidents to senior manager/ORM/compliance.
• Securing the stability of all critical processes / platforms by allocate his/her resources and leveraging IT or vendor’s help. Propose ideas and encourage team members to improve the existing flows / processes.
• Assist regulators, external / internal audit on any inspection or audit mission. Manage the expectation on completion deadline and respect the agreed commitment. No overdue internal audit / inspection related recommendation / GPS controls / serval controls.
• Participate CSR events and encourage team members to participate by task/assignment reallocation. ( e.g. paperless / extra miles / kidsdoor Green initiative, my bottle, my chopsticks, etc)
• Make sure the work life balance for the team ( task allocation, OT, Holiday, Flexible day, lunch break.).
• Ensure the completion of mandatory training programs for him/herself and BO team.
• Execute mandatory market events and key business / GBSU initiatives under the agreed budget and propose resource planning. Create a sustainable framework for market watch. Ensure we have the right profile with the expertise and capex to execute market events impacting FIC BO Japan
• Be familiar with all necessary risk and controls framework under the scope of FIC BO and proactively review risky area / processes where we need to strengthen the processes itself or the corresponding control framework (e.g. order ticket process, fail trade monitoring)
• Keep in touch with other competitors to understand their approaches on market event and other business strategy
• Implement a strong BCP Resiliency: WFH / DR plan and setup are solid and be ready for high risk scenario (e.g.COVID virus pandemic situation)
• Respect the regulations, internal rules and policy that are applicable to the role and the teams.
• Engage with EQD to to develop a cross backup/propose optimization strategy and people development.
応募資格(必須経験など)
PROFILE REQUIRED
• 8+ years experience in working in Operations (BO/MO). Hands on experience in FIC securities settlement (e.g. Relevant experience in JASDEC matching, BOJ settlement, JSCC clearing, with exposure to Japanese BO systems) .
• Solid experience in supporting Japanese sensitive clients. Able to Listen to clients/internal partners and colleagues in order to understand and anticipate their needs
• Accuracy / Swiftness / Attention to detail / Ability to observe and propose improvement (including opportunity of cooperation / synergies)
• Ability to navigate effectively in a global organization (departments and countries).
• Basic IT Skills (MS Excel, Word, powerpoint), able to formulate functional specifications for the Technology department.
• Proficient in both Japanese and English.
• JSDA (Japan Securities Dealers Association) Licenses: Sales Representative 1 & 2.
• Shows able to take accountability for decisions taken by him/herself.
• Business analysis skill is a plus.
