Your role
Are you an expert in analyzing market and economic data? Do you love to give advice, as well as educate?
We’re looking for a CIO Japan strategist focusing on:
• communication about CIO house views with clients, internal audiences, and media
• provide investment ideas/recommendations based on researches
• build and maintain economic/financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
• strengthen asset allocation function and branding strategy
• write the materials to ensure consistent and timely market/economic views
Your team
You’ll be working in our Chief Investment Office (CIO) in Tokyo. We’re a global unit responsible for the investment strategy and research functions within Wealth Management and the APAC. As a CIO Japan strategist, you’ll play an important role in strengthening CIO functions (communications, investment idea/recommendation, asset allocation, branding).

Your expertise
• economist or macro strategist with at least 3 years of experience
• fluent in Japanese and English to support local client base and global IOs
• have successfully built and maintained market/economic models
• a flexible, resilient, collaborative team player with a positive mindset
• adept at communicating views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
