Role Description
You will be a member of the GEM-Global Emerging Market (ie 14 countries in APAC), DMT-Deal Management Team Ops supporting the enablement of FX, Bond and Derivatives products for the GEM business in Japan. The role requires strong understanding of the front to back process of FX, Bond and Derivatives product and will be required to work with Tokyo business along with the regional ops and branch ops across various locations to design robust settlement workflow.

Locally in Japan you will sit together with Fixed Income Middle office organization in Tokyo office working closely with the settlements teams of the supporting products. As this role is only one dedicated support for GEM business, but local Middle office and APAC DMT can perfro the back up for this role during leaves.
Role Responsibilities and Tasks :
• Supporting the Global Emerging Market business relating to FX, Bond and Derivative products across APAC
• Perform deal and workflow management and advisory activities by end to end booking to settlement analysis for enablement of the market and process
o Cross border deal support,
o GEM connect workflow solutioning,
o Structured deal closing,
o Eepisodic deal support
o New business, Entity, platform , product and nostro set up
o Market mandatory changes
o Product and system testing
• Implement procedure and control changes in response to regulatory and policy changes
• Client facing, resolving client issues and queries
• Take part in new business initiatives NPAs- New Product Approvals / NTAs- New Transaction Approvals
• Project and initiative work also forms part of this role


応募資格(必須経験など)

Experience/ Exposure :
• 6+ years’ experience in global market product settlement or project execution role
• Strong understanding of SWIFT Payments preferred
• Accounting knowledge preferred
• Be willing to continuously invest in self-learning/training to stay abreast of constantly changing industry trends / client requirements and newer products /processes
• Strong problem solving skills/ability to hold clear and concise conversations with business partners and external clients.
• Strong mindset to challenge and re-engineer current processes to meet changing needs of the business. Some knowledge and exposure to digital tools will be useful, eg Alteryx, SQL, VBA, Python programming.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a wider regional team
• High personal motivational levels
• Strong Excel and Power Point skills
Education/ Qualifications :

• Educated to University degree level
• Native level Japanese and Business level English is required
