Direct Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering from users of systems supported by the Trade Processing team
- Analysis of market changes to assess impact to BNP Paribas systems
- Documentation of system changes to a level that the Offshore Development team can use to define technical specifications and implement code changes
- Testing of changes delivered by the Offshore team
- Documentation of Test Cases and Test Evidence
- Arranging and supporting user acceptance testing
- Interaction with Nomura Research Institute regarding interfaces to I-STAR Core/MX/CX/LC
- Interaction with other system vendors as required

- Follow the standard GM IT Project lifecycle and documentation requirements
- Provide consultancy and incident support when required
- Contribute to improving development process and efficiency
- Follow procedures for change management and, where necessary, Incident and Problem Management
Document and share knowledge with new joiners, developers and support team
Technical and Behavioral Competencies requiredKnowledge of the Settlement infrastructure in Japan, with in depth understanding of both Equity and JGB Settlement
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Ability to write SQL for data analysis and basic Unix skills
Strong sense of ownership; owning tasks and projects until fully completed
Proven track record of working well within a team and forging strong relationships with stakeholders
Passion for continuous improvement, of one’s own skills, and of the IT environment
Experience and Qualifications required
- 8+ years of work experience in Operations Technology in an Investment Bank
- Proven track record of contributing as a BA in mid to large size projects
- Experience working with either I-STAR or Gloss
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
