Position Responsibilities
This role will play a pivotal role in the daily security operations of Citi by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterprise
This role will leverage subject matter expertise on physical security and safety, access control, crisis management, security technology, event security/logistics, vendor management and other related matters
Responsible for the daily security functions at the Citi facility or Citi occupied property assigned to by the Area Security Manager or Regional CSIS
Direct and oversee security and safety activities of site staff, enact supervision and management to safeguard premises and employees against risk of unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism, and opportunities for criminal activities
Enforce Citi Security Standards and other relevant guidelines, review security-related problems and implement appropriate measures to mitigate security and risk exposures
Participate in training, operational readiness exercises and ensure that you are well practiced and rehearsed in the execution of security operations, drills and assignments
Report identified security and risk issues with objectives of addressing the exposures timely and in compliant manner
Assist business in raising Policy Exceptions as required; conduct assessments to ensure risks associated with the exceptions have been addressed adequately.
Support the appointment of business security and safety administrators by the business, and direct them on Security related administration
Support Project Management of Security Systems ensuring delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of security equipment.
Provide Executive Protection for Citi Seniors as required.
Conduct Security related investigations as directed and produce incident report.
Update and Maintain Security Systems Documentation and Inventory List.
Liaison with Law Enforcement Authorities
Update and Maintain Fire Safety Evacuation Plans.
Ensure guards are adequately trained and meet quality specified in the Security Policy, SOP, and contract document.
Support in sourcing for cost effective security systems and services solutions.
Provide inputs on security vendor performance for the purpose of vendor selection and contract
Act as Department Compliance Officer to ensure compliance of the unit to various Citi Compliance Policies.

Qualifications:
4 to 7 years of relevant experience
University bachelor degree holder. Desirable to have obtained professional security certifications
Demonstrated experience to communicate effectively with corporate seniors and regional peers in English
Can articulates basic understanding of security vulnerabilities and suggests preventative measures to assist in the mitigation of these potential risks
Proven ability to foster relationships and interface with external agencies to promote functional excellence
Demonstrated exposure of managing security at data center or technology facilities. Experience in working with security & safety technology
Bilingual English and Japanese Communication (written/spoken/comprehension)
Having background of banking or multinationals security profession experience is preferable
Positive mindset, team-player, quick learner and welcomes the challenge
Professional Security certifications
Flexibility to work on call off hours/weekend
Education:
Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
