【ソシエテ・ジェネラル証券】Client Account Manager in Global Markets-Associate (1 year + contract)

Primary Objectives:

  1. Support Sales on daily requests and ad-hoc issues in order to ensure smooth operations

  2. Promptly answer to clients’ queries in an efficient way (accurate and speedy)

  3. Manage pre-trade checks, handle trade execution and follow up post trade processes on primary and secondary transaction

  4. Interacting closely with various Support or Control functions to ensure proper alignment and cooperation with the business (e.g. IT, Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance, Finance etc.)

  5. identify gaps in our processes or systems and address them by simplifying / automating etc..

Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:

Product Understanding: develops a strong knowledge of Cross-Asset Product & Solutions thanks to daily work with Engineers and Structuring Team. Partake to trainings sessions, product presentations and visit hubs to exchange ideas on a frequent basis
Post Trade Client Service: Maintain a high level quality of service to Clients. Support Client in secondary market requests and post-trade servicing along with Client Service teams. Cooperates with support functions – is not mentioned as a problem maker by the various departments (M.O, B.O, Legal etc), Properly input deals in IT systems, in an exhaustive manner, pays particular attention to the correctness of term sheets and the credit processes (IFlows etc) – validate quickly Final Terms when needed
Internal tools and Systems know-how: Develop a strong knowledge of SG’s internal infrastructure, tools and systems.
Reporting and Transparency: Be transparent in your communication with sales, managers, COOs, engineers, trading and support teams.
Integrity of the Client Database: Maintain a high level of quality of the client database. Ensure that Client and Contact portfolios are accurate in SG’s CRM tool, iC. Ensure that our Client on-boarding is meaningful and efficient from On-boarding to Off-boarding working hand-in-hand with support teams.
First Line of Defence: Refers to Sales Handbook and avoid to enter into any discussion or transaction that could lead to a long-term liability for SG. Understand local rules and regulations of his market(s) and complies with all internal guidelines pre- and post-trade (notably but obviously not only such as KYC, credit pre-trade check in Riskweb tool, suitability check and process, appropriate and validated marketing documents by relevant stakeholders including Compliance department, appropriate legal documentation and regulatory requirements, SG internal execution and trading standards, margin policy, CVA and RAROC guideline, timely and appropriate booking of transactions, pre- and final confirmation etc...), but also all the other general business guidelines such as gift and entertainment policy, information security guidelines and restrictions versus external or internal communication (especially when dealing with any confidential or private information, Chinese walled transactions, GILT listed deals…) etc… , and always refers/escalate all potential issues/internal or external incidents to management, COO or Compliance
Applicant Eligibility:

Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or similar
Previous working experience in financial field
Able to work under pressure and deal with exposure to risk
Result oriented, determined and able to make independent decision
Familiar with the computer software, including Excel, PowerPoint, coding languages
