What you will do

Willing to challenge, learn new, and strive for better are quality of candidate we are looking for. The position comprises of two roles; primary role is change management and secondary role is business support.

1) Change Management: Responsible for delivery of projects relating to Japan Global Markets Operations (GMO) that involves Operations process and systems changes. Projects include market mandates, new products, business enablement, and discretionary changes. The team covers Core Operations (Equity and Fixed Income) in Japan. The team is also responsible for BCP (Business Continuity Plan) coordination and planning, Outsourced Operations due diligence, and Business quality control activities in Japan GMO.

2) Business Support: Responsible for various management reporting which include preparation of presentation for internal and external meetings

Your background

• Ability to articulate problems, digest regulatory changes, summarize information, present complex relationships in a simple, concise and structured way
• Good problem solving skills by developing practical, innovative solutions to changes and behaves actively in constructive manner
• Ability to assist in planning and coordinating activities from project scoping, planning, setting individual deadlines and goals while appropriately assess risk for its implementation and post go-live
• Ability to assist to Drive changes by leading discussion to clearly define the next actions and timely execution of actions with providing transparency to all concerned parties for project milestones, status updates, and issues escalation
• Good interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to influence and negotiate within Operations, senior leaders across functions and external parties
• Conducts end to end review and identify enhancement opportunities
• Strong Documentation skill for delivering project artifacts and management reporting
• Strong business level communication skills in both Japanese (native level of proficiency) and English
• Business acumen, professional working experience for a minimum of 2 years. Experience in financial services industry would be ideal but is not mandatory

Desired Skills:
• Basic knowledge of the Global Markets businesses
• Proven track record in managing projects, and its delivery
• Strong PC skills, notably Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of technical aspects and new technology tool
