• This role is to drive and implement risk frameworks, procedures and controls for JP WM in close collaboration and partnership with WM APAC CoC
• Support a wide span of risk topics including Data (as primary), Cross Border, Market Management, Data, Market Abuse, Conflicts of Interest, Anti-Bribery and Corruption
• For Data: this role to analyze and lead a number of initiatives to remediate the current data discrepancies due to legacy issues with missing data not obtained in the past due the legacy rules, e.g. AML and product due diligence
• Support a wide span of risk topics including Cross Border, Market Management, Tax, Data, Market Abuse, Conflicts of Interest, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Fraud and other emerging risks
• Gain exposure to key front-to-back business processes and partners across all lines of defense, thereby allowing you to actively identify and assess risks across IN WM and design creative solutions to manage the identified risks
• Proactively oversee and enhance the IN WM risk and control landscape including the design, implementation and monitoring of KRI/MIs, issue management and participation in governance processes
• Leverage technology in the design and implementation of risk frameworks, procedures and controls to optimize risk management, process/control effectiveness and efficiency and user/client experience
応募資格(必須経験など)
・Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a financial institution
・ This role requires candidate to be fluent in Japanese and to be based in Japan
・ Strong preference for persons with at least 5 years’ experience working in private banking front office, strategy, business management or risk functions
・ Outstanding organizational and project management skills to plan a long-term delivery and track progress against achievements
・ Ability to work independently and under pressure to deliver outcomes in adherence to project timelines
・ Strong partnership skills to work collaboratively across functions and locations
・ Excellent presentation and partner management skills
・ Outstanding strategic and analytical thinking with a results oriented attitude and pragmatic implementation capabilities
・ A positive ‘can-do’ attitude is critical to own and drive the risk agenda
