AMD Operations are responsible for front-to-back operational support to the Goldman Sachs Asset Management business in service, delivery, and processing functions across the trade, client, and product lifecycle.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management provides global investment opportunities to a substantial and diversified client base including institutions, governments and high net worth individuals. Critical to the success of the firm is our ability to leverage a global team of talented professionals in order to define solutions and lead change across the operational infrastructure.

AMD Public Operations is part of the Federation division of Goldman Sachs and is based in 13 locations across the globe. It consists of 11 functional areas including Fund Management, all of which work in a dynamic environment where control, client service and excellence in execution are fundamental principles.

The Shareholder Services in Tokyo has primary responsibility for supporting Japanese clients investing in onshore /offshore mutual funds and alternative products. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with many local and global teams and to be involved in a wide range of client experience that will provide a broad exposure to the firm’s client service business. The primary responsibility includes:


応募資格(必須経験など)

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the Asset Management industry. (asset managers, trust banks, global custodians, etc.)
• Knowledge of onshore/offshore mutual funds and alternative products.
• Excellent priority management skill in a fast-paced and multi-task environment.
• Attention to detail to keep high quality operational service level as well as see big picture with comprehensive bird view.
• Client focused mindset (i.e. well understand client needs and act in advance before clients request, manage client expectation and achieve win-win relationship, and be go-to-person for clients with long-term trust.
• Highly collaborative, team-oriented and strong consensus builder.
• Strong interpersonal skill to work with internal/external stakeholders of all level of seniority.
• Global mindset while acting locally wherever required.
• Frequent escalation with risk management skill.
• Native level Japanese language and business level English language skills in oral and writing.
