SIG invests in and trades a wide range of products, including distressed and restructured credits, real estate‑related credit, non‑performing loan portfolios, special situation financing, and high‑yield instruments such as LBO mezzanine debt.
With expanding opportunities in the Japanese market, Deutsche Bank’s SIG is seeking a credit investment analyst with experience in credit investment and/or financing in Japan. The role involves conducting credit risk underwriting, monitoring and managing invested credits, and working closely with a highly experienced team to further grow Deutsche Bank’s franchise in Japan.
A career path with opportunities to be involved in deal sourcing can also be offered, depending on the candidate’s background and career interests.”

Experience/ Qualifications:
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in the banking industry, financial advisory firms, and/or credit investment companies or funds.
· Strong knowledge of credit risk underwriting and financial analysis, with demonstrated hands on experience.
· Native level Japanese and fluent English proficiency.
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
· Strong work ethic, with the ability to work seamlessly with team members across various roles, including Traders, Investment Analysts, Deal Sourcing, Desk Legal, and Operations.
