We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Derivative Post Trade Operations - Confirmation, Drafting and DCP team in Tokyo (also with presence in Osaka) which supports OTC Derivative products. This is a client-facing role responsible for critical risk and control processes including trade affirmation, trade confirmation, dispute resolution with same-day turnaround subject to monthly confirmation execution targets, as well as the post-execution regulations in the US and EMEA.

Institutional Securities Group Product Operations:

Institutional Securities Group Product Operations (ISGPO) partners closely with Sales & Trading and our Clients to process daily activities, develop and implement new products and services, as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes.


応募資格(必須経験など)

What you'll bring to the role:
- Desired relevant work experience with Confirmation/Post Trade process.
- Desired industry knowledge and Derivative product process.
- ISDA, EMTA knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, supervisory and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced muti-tasking environment.
- Accountability for completion of day-to-day work oversight, proactive root cause investigation, in addition to project work and testing.
- Well-rounded, methodical person with strong analytical skills.
- Ability and confidence to identify and raise risks/issues to management, and to suggest solutions to issues, process improvements or highlight gaps and areas of concern.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Japanese and English Communication skills both oral and written are essential (requires dealing with local and global counterparts on a regular basis).
- Task orientated and inquisitive in nature, required to ensure issues and processes are challenged.
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
- Strong client service and expectation management skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a team environment both regionally and globally.
- Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Word/Excel, and/or other relevant applications.
- Knowledge/usage of Alteryx, UIPath, PowerBI a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese & English Business Language.
- Japanese financial rules and regulations knowledge including regulatory reporting experience will be an advantage.
