The successful candidate is expected to operate in partnership with business managers in Japan as a trusted advisor for them to achieve their business goals and objectives by effectively delivering solutions for the people agenda, and ensure that the people agenda is reflected in all decisions and aligned to achieving desired business outcomes.

The role will report to the Head of HR in Japan and deliver innovative and future driven business focused HR initiatives mainly for the Technology, Operations, General Counsel, Finance, Communication, Product & Marketing. The Senior HRBP also needs to coach and support managers to grow their leadership and management capabilities. The HRBP also needs to work on organization/ talent development and Learning & development and work with other HR colleagues to maximize the effectiveness of the HR Group and to contribute to the implementation of appropriate firm-wide HR initiatives.


応募資格(必須経験など)

• Business oriented mentality and commercial mind with strategic thinking
• Good interpersonal skill and communication skill including negotiation / assertiveness
• The ability to inspire confidence in others based on integrity, objectivity and fairness is key
• Ability and desire to work with a diverse client group and able to deliver at pace and scale
• Ability to navigate and build strong relationships and credibility with proven skills at partnering with managers and senior leaders
• Highly collegiate, ability to work well with colleagues across the range of HR Centres of Expertise, sharing ideas and building on best practice, with proven ability to leverage their domain experience and capabilities
• Having proven ability to think ‘outside the box’
• A good team player and flexible with respect to working hours and attending conference calls outside normal office hours as required
• Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with colleagues across regions and functions, with an ability to remove organizational barriers and obstacles to deliver Fidelity wide projects and initiatives
• Can-do attitude, experience of working on own initiative within a changing and high-pressured environment; commitment to high standards of excellence, demonstrating a drive to succeed in a changing environment
• 5-10 years of HRBP experience of working in a customer focused, dynamic, commercially driven environment: preferably Financial Services
• Great attention to details, excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
• Must have first-hand knowledge of Japan labour laws and labour practices in Japan as well as proven ability to evaluate risks and to effectively address and manage the cases.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as HR Analytics
• Fluent English and Japanese in both speaking and written
• Strong awareness of confidentiality
