Amazon became top recruiter who gained the most approved H1B petitions in 2021. Amazon was approved to hire for initial employment a record 6,182 employees under the H-1B visa program.
H1B visa approval rates are increasing year by year. In 2021, only 2% of all H1B visa applicants were not approved. The approval rate is clearly rising in the Biden administration. During the Trump administration, those rates were 24% in FY 2018, 21% in FY 2019 and 13% in FY 2020, respectively. It is now the easiest time for international students to get a job in the United States.
