Bloomberg Opinion is looking for an editor to support our Asia coverage. You will work closely with a team of columnists across the region to help produce commentary on major business, finance, markets and political stories. With several years of editing experience, you are at ease with honing articles in real time, working with a large volume of copy and comfortable editing commentaries on a broad range of topics. You will also have the requisite radar to spot bigger trends and be able to connect the dots for both regional and global audiences.
We'll trust you to:
• Work with specialized columnists to conceive, refine and publish Opinion articles on the biggest stories of the day that will become an indispensable read for Bloomberg audience
• Build influential relationships across the newsroom to ensure our coverage resonates globally
• Work with our columnists to embrace new story-telling formats across our multiple platforms
• Promote diversity of thought and representation throughout our opinion coverage
• Write the occasional column
• Be a constructive, flexible, and dependable team player
応募資格(必須経験など)
You'll need to have:
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial journalism
• Experience working in a real-time news environment
• Experience covering global markets or economics as an editor
• Proven ability to elevate already strong writing
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Proven skill at collaborating and working across teams to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
• Exceptional attention to detail
