What you can expect
This role is for a senior software engineer facing senior business stakeholders and technology/support partners across global markets with at least 10+ years of financial industry experience across broad range of technology functions including development, architecture, project management and application support. The successful candidate will possesses excellent communication, collaboration, people management skills and demonstrate capability for managing simultaneous multiple competing priorities across BAU and Initiatives (Technology Transformation, Data, Risk, Business Enablement, Growth and Regulatory/Compliance).
As an expert, creates the vision and roadmap for the programs, risk platforms/applications based on customer/enterprise requirements, industry standards/mandates, regulations and sets the strategic direction for the business or technology initiatives.
Communicates the program/platform vision and roadmap to senior stakeholder, product owners and teams.

Your background
• 10+ years of experience in fast-paced, high pressure and challenging environment
• Experience working with Traders, Desk Heads, Trade Control and Operations, Market Risk Managers, Finance.
• Good understanding of credit, rates instruments and associated life cycles
• Experience with resolving trade capture / pricing related issues, risk calculation process, intraday risk reporting.
• Quantitative educational background (Math, Physics or Engineering)
• Strong mathematical and analytics skills
• Highly experienced in numerical and optimization methods
• Skilled in developing and implementing algorithms to solve mathematical problems
• Hands-on experience in object oriented development using C++ or Java and Python
• Trade lifecycle / Pricing and Analytics development for credit products (Bonds, Loans, TRS, ETFs and Credit Derivatives) and interest rate derivatives
• Knowledge of financial derivatives and capital markets
• Good communication, collaboration and people management skills
