【Role Summary】
Candidate will drive programs, partnerships, innovations and features and will lead the Sustainability and Speed projects for Amazon Logistics Last Mile Delivery and create a robust and sustainable carbon free delivery network through deployment Electric Vehicles and similar Initiatives for Japan as well as create big customer impacts by strategizing and executing ideas and plans to delight customer with ultra-speed deliveries. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with multiple functions and teams including internal teams of DS Operations, Field Teams, Tech team, Last Mile Operations, Trans Network Planning and Customer Service Teams and managing the OEM’s across Japan and other geographies. The ability to influence others without authority and speed to execution will be critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate possesses a track record of successful relationship management, program and project management, strong analytical and business acumen, and experience in managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills, Bias for Action, Delivery Results and Think big will be essential to your success. The candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of program and business problems to create successful partnership by driving execution leading to achieving electrification goals and delivery speed to customers.
· Developing a robust infrastructure for carbon free delivery by taking multiple initiatives reaching towards Amazon Logistics Shipment Zero and Electrification Goals.
· Creating strategy, setting priorities and communicating across business partners and stakeholders.
· Translating the customer experience into a logical sequence and mapping our roadmap and program initiatives to measurable business value.
· Leading cross-functionally to ensure we implement the business vision and operational goals efficiently.
· Working with operations, product, legal and compliance, finance, tech, WW Sustainability, DEX, Trans Network planning and execution teams to make prioritization/emulate good practices and conceptualize and implement program and tech interventions.
· Coordinate with team across various regions and geographies to understand the implemented sustainability models in last mile.
· Conduct analysis for Last Mile quality, routing and on-road productivity data.
· Working with facilities, safety and process engineering team to develop EV infrastructure (parking, charging infrastructure, etc.)
· Defining and implementing Speed initiatives for Amazon Logistics to offer better delivery speed and customer experience.
· Work on most optimal and efficient delivery models to offer the delivery Speed and best in class customer experience.
· Work with Business Analytics and Orbit teams to create queries and reports for performance monitoring (including Mercury, Quick Sight and PerfectMile dashboards)
· Understand, Analyze and translate quality and performance data/metrics to drive execution and meet organizational goal for the initiatives.
· Bring creative ideas to enhance the on road and driver experience for differential and carbon free mode of transport.
· Work closely with tech teams to implement long term sustainable solutions fit for carbon free model of transport leading to Shipment Zero Goal of Amazon.
· Conducting quick pilot projects to gather learnings, identify and implement the best scalable solution for Last Mile logistics requirements.
· Identify cost saving opportunities and execute raising the bar on customer and partner experience.

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree.
· 5+ years of experience in Program Management and/or Operations with Logistics or equivalent industry.
· Proficiency with Excel, SQL.
· Business level English and Japanese.
