Amazon Japan is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join us as Finance Manager, Transportation in our headquarters in Tokyo. This leader will provide key decision-making support for Amazon Transportation business, including delivery service, capacity, network design and cost of our commercial transportation partners as well as our own Amazon network.
The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute results. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Ensuring exceptional controllership across our Amazon Transportation spending, including overseeing the monthly close process, ensuring proper controls are in place to protect the Company’s assets, and auditing data to ensure its accuracy
· Monitoring and driving the executional performance of the Amazon Transportation functions, including overseeing preparing and reviewing daily and weekly operational and financial metrics, and using these metrics to drive continuous operational improvement
· Championing technology and automation improvements for the finance function, including participating in the implementation of new operational tools
· Continuously seeking out opportunities for delivery experience improvements and cost reduction, and partnering with operations leadership to implement the opportunities

応募資格(必須経験など)
基本条件
· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar discipline with analytical bias
· 7+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
· Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results
· 7+ years of experience with advanced proficiency in Excel (index, lookups, sumifs, pivots, standard deviation, R2)
· 7+ years of proven experience with concepts of Generally Accepted Accounting Principle
· Excellent bilingual communications skills both in Japanese and English (written and oral)

• MBA and/ or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience
• Ability to build trust, influence, and guide senior management as well as direct and indirect business owners
• Proven success in people management
• Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions
• Manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, growing and ambiguous environment
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g. SQL, Python,Tableau, PowerBI) and other financial systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
• Previous experience in Logistics or Transportation industry a plus
