The Global Equity Research team is looking for a junior equity research analyst at Associate level to join the team in Tokyo.
Key Tasks
Work closely with senior analysts to cover a range of industries across the Japanese equity market.
Build industry frameworks, forecast long term earnings and value companies to assist in the development of investment recommendations.
Apply J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM)'s common long term valuation methodology.
Communicate and collaborate with the global network of JPMAM analysts.
Building strong industry knowledge across multiple industries.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates should have 3 to 6 years of relevant financial experience. This may be through experience in buy-side, sell-side, accounting, consulting or other related roles.
Key skills include analytical and financial modeling skills, intellectual curiosity, teamwork, pro-active verbal and written communication, patience and persistence.
Business level Japanese and English.
It is expected that candidates will participate in the CFA program if they are not already.
Additional training will be provided to successful candidates on an ongoing basis.
