【Application】

REAPPLICANTS ONLY: Please give us an update on your professional, academic, and community activities since your previous application and highlight what you have done to strengthen your application. (Maximum one page, single-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman.)
【Professional Resume】
Your resume or CV should highlight the professional achievements that make you a good candidate for our Executive MBA Program. If you’re reapplying, please submit an updated resume.
【Letters of Recommendation】
Letters of recommendation help us understand your accomplishments, personal character, and potential for success in an MBA program.
Please submit two letters of recommendation:
One from a current supervisor or manager
One from a professional colleague, a faculty member, a business partner, or another recommender
If you are a reapplicant, please provide a new letter of recommendation from a current supervisor or manager.
How to Submit Letters of Recommendation
The recommendation form is part of the online application. You will be prompted to provide the names and email addresses of your recommenders, and we’ll send them an email directing them to the online form.
【Application Fee】
The application fee of USD175 is due when you submit your application. You may pay by credit card, check, or bank transfer.
【Test Scores】
Booth’s Executive MBA Program is one of the most academically rigorous programs of its kind. To help make sure that you’re prepared for this level of rigor, we require you to take one of three entrance exams: the Executive Assessment (EA), the GMAT, or the GRE. Please contact Booth Admissions if you’d like to discuss your test options.
Executive Assessment
If you haven’t already taken a test, we recommend that you take the Executive Assessment (EA). Designed specifically for Executive MBA applicants, the EA offers a streamlined alternative to the GMAT.
Register for the EA. Visit the Executive Assessment website and register, selecting the Chicago Booth Executive MBA Program campus of your choice (Chicago, London, or Hong Kong). Your EA score is valid for five years.
GMAT
To send us your GMAT score, add Chicago Booth to the list of schools that have access to your GMAT scores. Our school codes are:
Chicago: H9X-9F66
London: H9X-9F-28
Hong Kong: H9X-9F-71
Your GMAT scores are valid for five years.
GRE
To send us your scores on the GRE, ask the testing service to send your scores directly to Chicago Booth. GRE scores are valid for five years after the year in which you tested.
Our school code for all campuses is 3225.
You must send official test scores before you can start the program. However, you may submit an unofficial score during the application process.
【Transcripts】
Your educational record is an important part of your application for admission. You’ll need to submit transcripts from all postsecondary educational institutions that you have attended. Transcripts must be translated into English and certified.
Unofficial Transcripts
When you apply, we’ll ask you to submit unofficial scans of your transcripts from every university, college, or graduate institution that you have attended. Please be sure to include both sides of each transcript, and provide the institutional grading scale or other standards of evaluation, including minimum passing and failing marks, and definition of grades between them.
Official Transcripts
Upon admission, you must submit official transcripts from every university, college, or graduate institution that you have attended.
【About Transfer Credits】
Booth does not accept transfer credits from other institutions, nor does it grant credit for experiential learning or online courses.
【How to Prepare for the Executive Assessment Test】
The EA test evaluates candidates on higher-order reasoning in three sections: Integrated Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. To view sample questions and practice tests, visit the GMAC website.
Retaking the Executive Assessment
Executive Assessment participants can take the EA test twice. We generally see scores improve with the second try. For test takers looking to better their score, consider the following preparation tips:
Analyze
Analyze your initial test scores for each section and identify specific areas for improvement. The goal should be to achieve balance across the three sections.
Practice
Practice, practice, practice. You can use the sample problems available on the GMAC website.
Relax
Try to leave your test anxiety at the door. You know what to expect this time around and will feel more comfortable with the testing format.
