Tips for Harvard- Testing

Hi! I’m Auriel Wright, a freshman at Harvard University planning to major in economics. I currently work as a scholarship workshop speaker, an admissions essays reviewer, a director of strategic development at Harvard College Healthcare Associates, and an admission board member/marketing specialist/ strategic developer at Early Bird Cultural Exchange.

SAT
I never took the real SAT (after my PSAT I abandoned the notion of ever really liking the test).

ACT
I recommend several books including Barron’s ACT 36 (http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-ACT-36-3rd-Edition/dp/143800625X ) and “ACT Prep Black Book: The Most Effective ACT Strategies Ever Published” by Mike Barrett. Read all of the practice questions in the ACT book, and make sure to do at least two of their practice exams since they are more difficult than the real exam.
