Bowers and Wilkins bought over by a start up
Bowers and Wilkins, the British speaker company recently sold itself to a tiny start up in Silicon Valley that no one had heard of before.
The CEO of Bowers and Wilkins, Joe Atkins reached a sale agreement with Eva Automation, a 40-person Silicon Valley startup that hasn’t yet sold a single product or service.
The company was started in 2014 by Gideon Yu, a former Facebook Inc. chief financial officer and ex-venture capitalist.
This could be a potential model for future funded startups, Gideon says.
