Brief History

The school was founded in 1908 as the Northwestern University’s School of Commerce, a part-time evening program. It was one of the founding members of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is the leading organization that sets accreditation standard for business schools. Thus, it played a major role in establishing the GMAT test.
