Brief History of Sloan School of Management
The MIT Sloan School of Management was founded in 1914, as the engineering administration curriculum in the MIT Dept of Economics and Statistics. Some of the key concepts and theories of business and management have originated at the school including the Black-Scholes model, Theory X and Y and the binomial options pricing model.
