[MBA Information] Harvard Business School
The school started in 1908 under the humanities faculty and soon received an independent status in 1910. It’s first dean was historian Edwin Francis Gay. Though it is popularly known that Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania was the first business school in the country, Harvard Business School is still regarded as the first school to offer an MBA program in 1908.
