Going on to a Business School to do your MBA gives you access to a lot of resources that could accelerate your career bringing you closer to your goals. But how exactly do you do so? 1) Take the Three-Pillar Approach: the three-pillar approach developed by Ben Thayer (Kenan Flagler MBA 2016) helps him categorise his responsibilities by first dividing them into three broad categories: academics, social and career. Through this he says he can slowly work on each to help him grow and succeed in an all-rounded manner.
2) Take a Break: with so much going on at all times during a two-year masters it is common to feel some sort of anxiety and stress. It is also very possible that students begin to lose their self-confidence and focus. Philip Blackett (Harvard Business School, MBA 2016) says, relaxing is key to being able to keep things in perspective and not have a heart attack before graduation!
