Tips for the GMAT Verbal section
Here are some quick tips for scoring high on the GMAT Verbal section.
1.Grow your Vocabulary
Having a strong vocabulary and using it at the correct time, is necessary. Use flashcards to practice memorising new words, their meanings and their usage in writing.
After getting familiar with the words, try to use them in your conversation to make it a part of your daily speaking and writing, outside of the test practice also.
Know the most commonly and frequently used words on the GMAT. The GMAT doesn't test all the vocabulary, so get a grip over the words which constantly appear on the exam.
To improve in Reading Comprehension, tackle the passage by understand the main information conveyed and interpret the purpose of the passage. Read the passage thoroughly and infer the answers only from the text. Skim through the passage once again, if you do not get it in first time.
