[Ask Alpha]MBA: I've only worked in Japan, but how can I get into an MBA in Europe or North America?

Hello. I am TJ, a representative of α Academy.
I receive this kind of concern a lot these days.

"I have only worked domestically, but I would like to work abroad or do global business."
"I would like to go to a graduate school abroad even though I am currently working."
"What can I do to get an MBA when I have only worked for domestic financial management?"
"I am not really good at English, but I want to get into an MBA university in North America or Asia!"
I hear a lot of this kind of voices.

There are only three points you have to get.
1. You will not be valued as you wish, when you work domestically. People, who have only worked in one country, do not understand why you want to get an MBA abroad and why it is valuable.
2. Therefore, you need to set up a long-term goal that shows what you really want to do. We help you make a persuasive goal!
3. Then, you go talk to your boss and negotiate your position. Also you have got to do some volunteer activities out of work to support your long-term goal. It is one of the options that you would be involved in NPO or NGO. (This is also what we can help! No worries!)

Q: "Why do you want to try MBA abroad when you only work domestically?"
You: "Because I have set up this long-term goal for myself. I have done 〇〇 at work, and 〇〇 out of work. I am always aware of global issues and global business."

This is an ideal conversation. We send a lot of students to MBA school in the world. All of you who have a clear and strong goal can make it!
